Among the Trees

This print was inspired by a day in the Caledonian rainforest at Crinan during my artist residency there. It’s a remnant of the Atlantic oak woods that once stretched right across Scotland. A magical place,  covered in moss or lichens. There are ferns everywhere,  like these ones just unfurling and lit up by a shaft of light through the spindly trees.
