Tidal Flow

A linocut print of the river estuary and distant mountains of Jura at Crinan on the West coast of Scotland. The print captures the shimmer of the ebbing tide, the bright blues and greens and purples of a warm summer’s day. The eye follows the tide through the gently meandering shallows into the tranquil depths and the possibility of escape in the blue mountains beyond.
